During my career I’ve held a variety of global marketing and digital leadership roles, delivering work for major brands such as ODEON Cinemas Group, Virgin Media, Tesco, Boots and Whitbread.

I now use my industry experience to consult with a wide variety of clients from start-ups, SMEs through to Global blue-chip companies – helping them think differently on marketing, digital and strategic growth.

With many years of experience, I am now a highly experienced marketing/digital consultant – and am particularly motivated by complex challenges!

I like to leverage my hands-on experience in a wide variety of strategic, delivery, programme, project and technical roles to understand, simplify and integrate different stakeholders’ needs together, ensuring the companies I work for always balance customer strategy against commercial objectives.

I also complete interim advisory and consulting work in a variety of capacities, including performing the role of interim Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Chief Digital Officer (CDO), VP or Group Head.

Undertaking a highly commercial, results-driven approach using data to drive strategy and decision-making and rapid innovation

Significant expertise in owned, earned, shared and paid media strategy, planning and working with media agencies

Collaborative, influencing and relationship building skills to be effective in a large global matrix organisation

Experience in creating a positive culture of innovation, enjoyment and wellbeing that attracts and retains key talent

Deep knowledge of loyalty, subscription services and the broader media landscape

Strong experience in consumer data – including GDPR, PII and the latest cyber-security threats

Experience of leading teams and working across international markets

I normally work with B2C/B2B business directors, start-ups, executive boards, not for profit and investors, undertaking short consulting assignments for companies that typically want to have their current way of working challenged and digitally transform.

I am particularly motivated to support sustainability focused companies and ‘Profit For Purpose’ B-Corps. I believe strongly that financial performance should no longer be the sole focus of a company – it needs to act in the best interests of all of its stakeholders such as employees, customers, and the community it serves and embrace the idea of positively contributing to the world.
